Question: I keep getting an annoying ringing like noise in one ear. Is there any relief from this?

Answer: You are probably losing high pitch hearing. Do you listen to your ipod (or any other device using a headphone) for a long time w/the volume high? Exposing your ears to long periods of sounds at a high decibel will cause you to lose your hearing faster than normal (most people start losing the ability to hear high pitches as they age). The symptom is ringing in your ears. I don't know if there's anything you can do to alleviate the ringing but you can certainly slow the process by turning the tunes down and giving your ears a break!
