Question: I am being tested for all sorts of things Have you ? What did it turn out to be?. We are pretty sure it is Meniere's . Do you have it? How does it present itself/affect your life? Do you also have a history of migraine?
Answer: My husband was checked for several things, including brain tumor, migraine, multiple sclerosis, and Meniere's Disease. Unfortunately, Meniere's disease is one of exclusion, meaning that all other causes must first be ruled out.If you have not already had a baseline hearing test done, please ask your physician about it. This helps him/her determine if you are experiencing hearing loss, which is another inidicator of Meniere's disease. Know that tinnitus and vertigo are a symptom of many, many things and diagnosis can take quite a long time. Be patient
