Tinnitus Forum

Question: Does anyone know Tinnitus Forum in Southern California ? please provide some detailed information about it!

Answer: There will be a Tinnitus Forum sponsored by the American Tinnitus Association on Wednesday March 18 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM (Pacific) in the SDRI Conference Center at the Alvarado Medical Center, 6645 Alvarado Road, in San Diego, California. Admission is free to ATA members and non-members alike. There will be four speakers followed by a question and answer session.

I am re-posting this announcement because I learned yesterday that Dr. Jack Vernon has made a last-minute decision to come down to San Diego from Portland on Wednesday. He will be attending the ATA forum, and he will participate in the question and answer session. If readers of this board are from Southern California and have *not* met Dr. Vernon ... or even if you *have* ... this is an opportunity you will not want to miss. Not only is Dr. Vernon incredibly knowledgeable about tinnitus (he founded the Oregon Health Sciences University Tinnitus Clinic and a few years ago retired from his long-held post as Director of the Oregon Hearing Reserarch Center), not only is he the 2001 recipient of the Oticon Award as the Outstanding Hearing Health Care Professional in the United States, but he is also without question the World's Nicest Man!

So I am (very briefly) returning to this website for the sole purpose of strongly encouraging all those within reasonable traveling distance of San Diego to try to make it to the ATA Tinnitus Public Forum this coming Wednesday evening.
