Question: Although the mind is changing the body is not. Have been advised by my peers to see if VA can be further claimed for my conditions that I deal with as subject above implies. They already diagnosed me as 10% disabled for Tinnitus. Are there any Vets out there or claim experts that I can e-mail and put a plan together. Life would be more fruitful for me if I can sleep well. I do all the things I can to fake it till I make it most of the time and enjoy what there is to the my reality of life. Va and doctors all want to use meds as only answer. Need to look at claim route.

Answer: I worked at a VA hospital in the audiology dept. for quite a while prior to opening a TRT clinic.

If you will call the VA, they will help you by assigning somebody to work with you to fill out a claim. It will help if you have documentation of your problems, and the fact that you are service connected for tinnitus is in your favor, too.

Don't give up. I helped another vet recently who finally was approved for a SC disability during the appeals process.
